Day 2 

I do apologise for this shorter post but it’s from my iPhone, i finished work late and thought better posting a little rather than nothing at all.

I never worked out this morning because I only had a little time before work and I went to get my mum some feel better stuff (she’s I’ll with the flu). Food for the day was ok, but from tomorrow I will be getting a little stricter.

Breakfast was a crunchy nut clusters cereal, lunch was minted lamb hotspot soup with Belvita biscuits. Oh and dinner was two burgers (I was starving after work!).

Day 1 : I haven’t vanished!

I bet your thinking day 1 again? come on! I would be to but there is a good reason for that. I have been ill for a couple of days and then when I did go back to the gym I did something to my arm (I think I pulled a muscle). Anyway I am all healed up and hoping for a better start this time around. Instead of writing this post as all the missing days I think it’s a better idea of just re-doing day 1. 

Today I never worked out in the morning because I had a few little things to do and because my sister isn’t well I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her at home. I did manage a good 40 minute cardio workout late afternoon and was solid all day with my food. Tomorrow I am at work but I hope that it can be a solid 48 hours because as I am sure everyone will know the first 3 days are the hardest. 

My food for the day was as follows, I will have pictures back from tomorrow;

Breakfast : A bowl of crunchy nut clusters cereal

Lunch : italian wedding soup with an eat healthy bar and a weight watchers yoghurt

Workout snack : (half before and half after) vanilla nurishment

Dinner : Two chorizo and beef burgers with a little chilli sauce

Day 2

Today has been a challenge, I had a good 40 minute cardio workout (which should have been longer but all the machines where taken and I had limited time before work) and a lower body session. Food was good for the day, and I think I am making good progress. Tomorrows plans are cardio and upper body weights in the morning and to be better with my food :)

Food Diary

Breakfast : Nurishment strawberry can

Lunch : Omelette with chicken, sweetcorn and and onion (also a banana and a packet of Belvita biscuits)

Dinner : Two whole breast chicken kievs with a whole pile of mixed veggies

Day 1 

First of all can I just say thank you to those of you who shared some kind words with me, they really helped and it meant alot! For some reason I couldn’t comment on the posts so I thought I would put it on here. I am taking all of those kind words on board :)

Back on track and today was exciting, I got my hunger pains But I was focused. I weighed in yesterday to get the stats and It wasn’t pretty :( But instead of moaning and complaining I sucked it up and just got on with it and faced the facts. 

SW : 15st 5lbs (215lbs) - OBESE - BMI 30.15


My food for the day was good, I stuck to just four small meals (or 3 meals and a snack) which is not what I usually do but I had a huge workout and I was just feeling so drained. Food Diary is below (no pictures today but there will be tomorrow);

Breakfast : weetabix and Special K 

Lunch : a chicken and bacon wholemeal sandwich (from where I did food shopping, it’s around 400 cals)

Snack :  cereal again, same as before but a little less

Dinner : a weight watchers beef hotpot meal (under 300 cals)

My life has been so messed up (an update)

The title says it all really, and it is true. If you have been following my posts you will know that since the new year came around I have been horribly inconsistent and off track.

I have put on so much weight and now weigh the most that I have done in the last 6 months! It was my sisters birthday and we went away and it was just junk food and crap. On Sunday I tried to make a fresh start and was constantly put off by my family and I caved.

There was temptations again today but I resisted and I can say that I feel great for starting fresh. I haven’t gone 3 days with exercise and healthy eating so that is my first aim. I am going to take every day as it comes but for the immediate future I want to lose as much weight as possible. It’s my birthday in exactly 8 weeks and my plan is to get back down to my lowest weight (before new york) by then and after my birthday I just want to kick on and keep on improving. 

I doubt anyone would have got to the end of this, but if you did congrats! you deserve a prize. Anyway wish me luck, hopefully this is the first day of me getting back to improving myself. 

February 12th

First thing which you probably have noticed is that I have changed from writing day ‘insert number’ to the date. I did this because I haven’t been posting every day and this way its easier if I miss a day and it’s easier to look back on and I will know the exact date. 

It was my graduation this week *go me* and coupled with snow days I haven’t posted in a while. I know, really bad! But that’s not all, we went out to celebrate after my graduation and I haven’t been strict with workouts or diets. It’s my sisters birthday next week and we are all going away for a few days but aside from that my only concern is getting back in to things. I’ll admit I have been on and off (mainly off) but that has changed from today. 

I have realised that I need to be both mentally and physically ready which I wasn’t before and most importantly I have a newly found motivation. I won’t tell you all her name but she is amazing. I know that I should only lose weight and be more healthy for me but she is the type of person that makes you want to be the best version of your yourself. 

Anyway back on track, this morning I started off with a good 45 minute cardio workout at the gym and I ate just 3 meals. I was getting those not eating sugar or crap headaches so I made sure that my meals filled me up so I would not be tempted to snack. I know the next 48 hours are going to be the hardest but if I can get through that I can get through anything.

Breakfast : Nutriment can with a flapjack bar

Lunch : Tomato soup (with a hint of chilli), belvita biscuits and a shape yoghurt

Dinner : Weight watchers chicken barbecue pizza

SW : 14st 14lbs

CW : 14st 13lbs

TW : 1lb

*I am starting my weight loss from last week even though this is my first proper week back at this whole thing. So I am not counting everything I have done in the last year, this is fresh :)

Day 13 

Anybody else had snow? we had a little today but it was awesome, despite now being older and having to drive and do grown up things I do feel like a little kid whenever there is snow. 

Anyway back to the day and I started with a good cardio workout, the gym was packed so I wasn’t there for as long as I had wanted but it was ok. Food was decent too, I made sure that my largest meal over the next 3-4 days was today to get it out of the way. Just to let you all know I have changed my routine in preparation for my graduation which is this Tuesday. I will be as follows for the next few days only;

Friday : Cardio + upperbody and lowerbody

Saturday : Cardio

Sunday : Cardio + upperbody and lowerbody

Monday : Cardio

Tuesday : Cardio + upperbody and lowerbody

My food for the day was ok too, breakfast was weetabix and special k and lunch was a minted lamb hotpot soup with belvita biscuits and a weight watchers yoghurt. Finally dinner was two beef burgers in wholemeal bread with some bbq sauce. Like I said that was the heaviest dinner until my graduation atleast so I am hoping the next 4 days are my best yet! 

Days 11-12

Yesterday and today have gone by in a blur. It’s been taken up with car hunting for my mum and I can finally say it’s over and my life is back to normal. Starting with yesterday we where out at 8 and home for 6, the whole day was spent in the freezing cold looking at cars and seeing what we could part exchange hers for. We found one late yesterday and went out today to picky it up (for anyone wondering she had a peugeot 207 and has replaced it with a mini cooper).

So yesterday I wasn’t at the gym but I was again today. I was there this morning and it was an insane gym session (cardio+upper body+lower body). Food was good too today I had ready break for breakfast, a heinz soup (can’t remember the flavour), belvita biscuits and a shape yoghurt for lunch and two chicken breasts with mixed veg for dinner. 

Because my days are back to me, my life and my tumblr are back to normal from tomorrow. Hope everyone is well :)

Day 10

Today has been so busy, and I was tempted to snack so badly. My mum and sisters have draws full of bad stuff like cakes, chocolates etc. I have literally just come in with buzz and my body is craving bad food, but instead of having something I decided to come on here and do my daily post. My mums planning on getting quotes for part exchanging her car tomorrow so along with preparing her car I went to help her get my sisters birthday presents today. As lame as it sounds with driving everyone around and doing so many things today when I had free time it was towards the evening so I never worked out today :( My plan now is to double tomorrows workout so it will be cardio + upper body and lower body. Food for the day was good and I stuck to just 3 meals, my dinner was the same as yesterday by my mum and it is the last meal she is cooking for me this week so it’s healthier from tomorrow.

Lunch : Spicy pumpkin soup with a shape yoghurt and belvita biscuits

Dinner : Chicken breasts with stuffing and mixed veg

Day 9 & weigh in day

I was so disappointed this morning, first things first and it was weigh in day. Pictures are below but there was NO change! I was shocked to be honest, my gym has been on par which means my food must not have been. 

Today was hard because after that, I saw it was icy and cold this morning. Taking everything into account I did not want to workout this morning and I was so close to not going. But I did not give in to being lazy and I had a great workout which consisted of a just over 40 minute cardio session. Following that I thought carefully about what I want to achieve and I decided that even though my graduation is in around 10 days, I want to get back to my lowest weight of last year. Which was the weight I was at just before I went to New York in October. So to lose the weight I have set myself a six week target. 

Food for the day was ok, well it was great. My mum made my dinner which was my heaviest meal and aside from tomorrow its the only two meals that she is cooking for me.
